How Applications Work

As part of the registration process, there is a $40 non-refundable application fee. After the fee has been paid and you have successfully applied, you will receive a confirmation letter. In the case that you do not receive an email, please wait at least one day before contacting PDSB staff to account for any possible delays.

Schools can only view your application after 24 hours.

From all successful applicants, 156 are chosen. The first 156 are selected by a lottery using a computer. Then first-round offers are sent. If, by the end of the week 100 applicants have accepted, then another 56 emails are sent out to those on the waitlist. These are known as second-round offers. After the next week, if another 40 students are chosen, 16 more will have an opportunity to accept.
